Ultimate Impostrip

Ultimate Impostrip is an imposition solution for the creation of imposed print ready PDF content for output to digital and offset printing devices. The vendor behind Ultimate Impostrip (Ultimate technologies) have been developing imposition solutions for over 25 years and understand the requirements for a wide range of applications including traditional offset and digital printing.

When adding digital cut-sheet, continuous feed or large format to an existing offset environment customers often find that their traditional imposition solution cannot address all of the requirements such new technologies bring.

Typical additional requirements include specific marks bar codes and page furniture needed for digital printing & inline or offline finishing, support for specific imposition layouts and increased automation and processing speeds for imposing variable data jobs to keep up with digital output speeds. Ultimate Impostrip can address all of these requirements as well as those of traditional offset from a single solution.

Ultimate Impostrip is available in a number of scalable modules to suit all manner of automation and productivity requirements and uses industry standard JDF to provide easy integration and high levels of automation.

Ultimate Impostrip offers easy integration with existing workflows via JDF, XML and hot folder connectivity. Ultimate Impostrip is also available as an optional integrated module within Ricoh’s TotalFlow Prep and also connects seamlessly with TotalFlow BatchBuilder via specific integration.
