Anything in Print podcast explores why diversity is good for the print industry

Ricoh’s latest Anything in Print podcast delves into gender diversity highlighting why a diverse print business is a strong print business.

Ricoh UK is proud to announce the release of its latest Anything in Print Podcast episode.

The podcast shares knowledge, tips, and trends within the printing sector from organisations working in everything from marketing to distribution. Each episode looks at challenges and issues within the industry and examines how organisations have adapted, evolved, and thrived in recent years.

This month’s episode, to celebrate the International Women’s Day, looks at the role of women in the industry.

Released on the 8th of March, episode five features Tanya Howe, Ricoh UK Sales Director, speaking with Deborah Corn from Girls Who Print. The two discuss practical advice for women in the print industry as well as print businesses wanting to improve diversity in their teams. With decades of experience between them, they share their experiences as women in a traditionally male dominated field and why diversity should not be a tick box exercise. The episode shines a light on the power of:

  • Cross-training: examining your existing workforce and offering opportunities to learn new skills.
  • Communicating to your teams: How to make diversity and inclusion part of your strategic objectives and not a tick box exercise.
  • Authenticity in your approach to diversity and inclusion, and how that translates into better business outcomes, especially when working with print buyers belonging to Gen Z.

You can find the podcast here alongside all previous podcasts shared throughout the series.
