Ricoh UK appointed as Crown Commercial Services supplier

IT Services Company secures lots across managed print and content services, postal goods and services, and technology services

Ricoh UK, London, 29 November 2016 – Ricoh UK Ltd has been selected by the Crown Commercial Service (CCS) to provide goods and services to the public sector as part of a four-year agreement.

Ricoh UK has secured lots across three categories of Multifunctional Devices, Managed Print and Content Services and Records and Information Management; Postal Goods and Services; and Technology Services. This means the company will be able to bid for contracts with public sector clients, including large central government departments and local authorities.

Ricoh UK government sales director Alasdair McCormick comments: “We’re really pleased to be one of the few contractors selected to be part of the CCS agreement. These frameworks give Ricoh the opportunity to expand its IT and managed services capability. The company currently supports print and document operations for public sector clients such as Crawley Borough Council, East Sussex County Council, St Thomas’ Hospital, and Westminster City Council.

With the Government’s driver for Digital by Default, Ricoh is uniquely placed to provide technologies that facilitate the whole document lifecycle and assist customers in transitioning their processes away from paper dependency.
