Ricoh has been re-appointed as a supplier on Crown Commercial Service's Multifunctional Devices framework

Ricoh UK, London, 20 October 2021: Ricoh has been reappointed as a supplier on Crown Commercial Service's Multifunctional Devices (MFDs), Print and Digital Workflow Software Services and Managed Print Service Provision framework for another four years.

Ricoh will not only continue to be a supplier of the Multifunctional Devices (MFDs) and Related Services Framework for Lot 2, but have also been appointed to Lot 3 for the provision of fully managed services of MFD print environments. Additionally, this will be the first time that Ricoh is the sole supplier for Lot 1, in which Ricoh will oversee the provision of a simple online procurement route of MFDs for public sector bodies.

The extension of Ricoh’s existing relationship with Crown Commercial Service (CCS) on Lot 2 will continue to provide customers with a compliant route to market and the option to work with Ricoh sales advisors to get high-quality, affordable products. Ricoh’s appointment on Lot 3 will make Ricoh’s services more widely available to larger central government agencies, cementing the organisation as a digital services leader.

CCS supports the public sector to achieve maximum commercial value when procuring common goods and services. In 2020/21 CCS helped the public sector to achieve commercial benefits equal to £2.04bn - supporting world-class public services that offer best value for taxpayers. 

Ricoh’s appointment on Lot 1 will make the leasing of machines more accessible for people with smaller print devices, making it both easier and faster through the online store. This positions Ricoh as a go-to provider for MFDs for the public sector and positions them as a provider of wider digital services through compliant routes.
