Ricoh appointed to latest CPC framework to enhance public sector digital transformation

Crescent Purchasing Consortium’s latest framework will support public sector digital transformation needs across the UK

Ricoh UK, London, 25 May 2021: Ricoh has been appointed as a supplier on the Crescent Purchasing Consortium (CPC) framework for multifunctional devices and digital transformation solutions. The framework will be made available to all CPC members of further education colleges, academies, and universities, as well as wider public sector bodies across the UK. It will look to support organisations as they adapt to new ways of working.

This latest iteration is the third-generation framework from CPC for multi-functional devices, managed print services and associated software. For the first time, the framework includes a lot specifically for digital transformation to enable the public sector to develop robust digital transformation projects with trusted partners.

The updated framework reflects the changing demands on education providers and the public sector, which have created a need to source services and solutions that suit new ways of working. The framework will enable public sector buyers to confidently choose a trusted partner to purchase solutions with tested value for money. It will also allow those who use it to meet compliance regulations while selecting multi-discipline suppliers to advise, support and work on digital transformation projects from start to finish.

Keith Stevenson, National Account Director at Ricoh UK, said: “Ricoh has been a supplier and vigorous supporter of CPC and its frameworks since the first MFD contract was let in 2012. This new version becomes available at a time when customers are making the new ways of working established during the pandemic permanent, resilient, and compliant.

“Ricoh can address all elements of digital transformation and are now able to offer customers a simple, project-based solution to this second step transformation/consolidation under a single procurement. Of course, we will also continue to supply our market-leading range of MFDs and managed print solutions. We are very excited to continue our partnership with CPC and its members.”

The Framework is contract managed on behalf of CPC by the Dukefield Group Ltd. One of the objectives of the framework is to match public sector customers with the right suppliers.

Jon Chamberlain, Group Chief Executive Officer at Dukefield Group explained, “A key driver behind this latest iteration of the framework is to provide customers with a choice of excellent suppliers, with a diverse range of offerings that meet the specific needs of buyers. This enables them to transform the services they provide whilst also realising greater efficiencies.”
