Ricoh announces Maro Itoje as an ambassador

October 12, 2016 - Ricoh, global technology company, has today announced a new partnership with the England International and Saracens player Maro Itoje.

Maro will be joining the company’s imagine. change. ambassador programme, alongside golfer Charley Hull and tennis player Johanna Konta. The aim of the partnership with the rising England rugby star is to bring Ricoh’s brand proposition to life, particularly for the B2B audience. Maro will also be utilised as part of the company’s upcoming Premiership Rugby activation campaign, planned for launch later this month.

Chas Moloney, Marketing Director for Ricoh UK & Ireland, commented: ‘Maro’s already had a great deal of success at his young age, both with Saracens and as part of the England team. Having him on board will help us further engage with our key stakeholders as well as the wider rugby fan community. At Ricoh, we are committed to supporting young talent – in business as well as sport – and we are delighted to be working with Maro going forward.’

Maro Itoje said: ‘I’m delighted to be joining the Ricoh team and sit alongside such exciting talent within the imagine. change. ambassador programme. I’m looking forward to working with a company that has a big presence in Rugby and also to being involved in the Premiership Rugby projects planned for the season ahead.’

Ricoh has been the Official Partner to Premiership Rugby since 2014.
