Ricoh’s technology and expertise have been utilised by the Club during their transition from the Boleyn Ground to the London Stadium at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park before the start of the 2016/2017 Premier League season. Learn more about how the partnership has transformed the Club’s IT infrastructure. To mark the farewell and immortalise the Club’s famous Boleyn Ground, Ricoh and West Ham created a 360 video that takes fans on a unique journey around the iconic venue. Narrated by Ray Winstone, a lifelong Hammers fan, the three-minute long #ImagineBoleyn video incorporates high quality visuals, while capturing the iconic ground in a way never before seen. The entry was shortlisted in the 2016 Football Business Awards under ‘Best / Most Innovative Use of Technology by a Club’ category.
Cardiff City Football Club
Ricoh’s first started working with Cardiff City FC in 2010, and two years later we became permanent tenants within the stadium. Since then Ricoh have worked with the Club to enhance the fans’ matchday experience by implementing Ricoh’s innovation solutions and products such as Digital Signage, Stadium App and Short Throw Projectors around the stadium.
