West Ham United
Ricoh became the Official Information Technology Partner of West Ham United in 2015. Ricoh’s technology and expertise have been utilised by the Club during their transition from the Boleyn Ground to the Olympic stadium before the start of the 2016/2017 Premier League season.
To mark the farewell and immortalise the Club’s famous ground, Ricoh and West Ham created a 360 video that takes fans on a unique Boleyn Ground. Narrated by Ray Winstone, a lifelong Hammers fan, the three-minute long #ImagineBoleyn video incorporates high quality visuals, while capturing the iconic ground in a way never before seen.
The #imaginechange film is a great demonstration of how very proud we are to be part of the club’s journey of transformation, as their partner.
The entry was shortlisted in the 2016 Football Business Awards under ‘Best / Most Innovative Use of Technology by a Club’ category.
Cardiff City Football Club
Ricoh’s first started working with Cardiff City FC in 2010, and two years later we became permanent tenants within the stadium. Since then Ricoh have worked with the Club to enhance the fans’ matchday experience by implementing Ricoh’s innovation solutions and products such as Digital Signage, Stadium App and Short Throw Projectors around the stadium.
