Meet some of the faces behind our success

Chris Hopton

Chief Executive Officer, Ricoh Northern Europe

Chris became the CEO of Ricoh Northern Europe in November 2024. His remit includes UK, Ireland, Netherlands, Belgium, Luxemburg and the Nordics. 

Prior to his current role, Chris was Chief Sales Officer at Ricoh Europe where he was responsible for driving sales across EMEA via our partner channel and direct organisation. 

Chris joined Ricoh Europe in 2017, bringing with him over 15 years’ B2B experience and a strong track record in transforming sales teams. He has held multiple senior commercial roles within Ricoh Europe driving sales transformation and profitable growth. Chris built a career spanning more than a decade at the Danwood Group, where he held an executive board position until the sale of the business.​ 

He has a passion for people development and creating environments where everyone can succeed. ​

Chris Bird

Transformation Director, Ricoh Northern Europe

Chris has over three decades of experience working in the order-to-cash process, procurement, purchasing and supply chain management across the UK and European markets. In his current role, Chris is responsible for directing the procurement and purchasing teams, streamlining the order processing and administration processes, and supporting the European supply chain strategy and development across Northern Europe.

Chris has built strong working relationships with employees, customers, and suppliers over the years, and was instrumental in supporting the welfare of his team and wider business continuity during Covid. He believes that the success of any business is dependent on people and sees technology as a great tool to help employees gain new skills, express their creativity and achieve fulfilment through work. ​

In his role as Executive Sponsor for LGBTQ+, Chris continues to drive education and engagement around LGBTQ+ causes and advocate for greater diversity and inclusion in the workplace.

David Clack

Director of Marketing, Ricoh UK and Ireland

David has been instrumental in shaping Ricoh’s brand positioning and strengthening its position in the marketplace. ​

As a long-serving team member, David understands Ricoh customers, their needs, and challenges. He believes in people-centric marketing communications strategies, with customers and partners firmly at the heart of any approach. Heading up a multi-disciplinary marketing team across the UK and Ireland, David adopts an agile marketing methodology championing innovation and continuous improvement.

David’s focus on people permeates every aspect of his work at Ricoh, from how he works with his team to the diversity, inclusion, and wellbeing issues he supports. His specialism is supporting a multi-generational workforce, and he focuses specifically on generational inclusion to improve engagement. ​

Rowan Jeffreys-Hoar

Director of Partner Sales, Ricoh UK

Joining Ricoh in direct sales, Rowan has forged a career that has spanned nearly three decades with the company. He was promoted to the Ricoh UK board as Director of Partner Channel in 2020. 

Rowan is passionate about forging trusted relationships with Ricoh’s partners to ensure they can meet their customer challenges. He is extremely knowledgeable about the technology sector and is an expert in effective partnership. ​

In his role as Executive Sponsor for Ethnicity at Ricoh UK, Rowan has led on several initiatives to drive allyship and improve ethnic diversity across the organisation, including our commitment to the Race at Work Charter by Business in the Community and leading our Ethnicity Affinity Group. ​

Looking to the future, Rowan is excited about Ricoh’s journey, forging its position as a workspace integrator and the opportunity this provides to partners. ​

Rowan Jeffreys-Hoar Director of Partner Sales, Ricoh UK

Paula O’Brien

Director of Direct Sales, Ricoh UK

Paula joined the Ricoh UK board in March 2024 as Director of Direct Sales responsible for delivering growth and driving value for our customers within the direct sales channel. ​

Paula has over 30 years of sales experience across a range of complex technology portfolios. Prior to joining Ricoh, she held senior positions in several companies including Amazon Web Services where she headed up the enterprise retail division and spearheaded key strategic initiatives as part of the UK senior leadership team. ​ 

Looking to the future, Paula looks forward to using her leadership experience and people-first approach to continue strengthening Ricoh’s position in the marketplace and addressing customers’ challenges in the ever-evolving world of work. ​ 

Like each board member, Paula sponsors a key people issue which she takes personal responsibility for infusing into our culture. Paula’s passion is to empower women in the workplace, and in her role as Executive Sponsor for Gender, she has taken a lead on issues surrounding gender inclusion.​

Marco Pezzani

Director of Customer Service, Ricoh UK

Marco has over 20 years of experience in the information technology and service industry.

In his role as Director of Customer Service at Ricoh UK, Marco has been instrumental in securing numerous customer service recognitions, including repeat recertification to the Customer Service Excellence (CSE) accreditation, showcasing Ricoh’s continued commitment to excellence across our customer service teams.

Under Marco’s leadership, Ricoh’s service teams have diversified their offerings, in line with our own digital transformation journey, to support our customers’ and partners’ evolving needs. 

As part of his role as Executive Sponsor for Wellbeing, Marco has been instrumental in developing and launching numerous initiatives in the UK, including the Wellbeing Champions programme. 

Marco’s core focus continues to be on the development of our people through numerous training and up-skilling programmes to ensure that Ricoh’s field service remains at the forefront of emerging technology.​

Rebekah Wallis

Director of People & ESG, Ricoh UK

Rebekah is an experienced leader in HR, with expertise across specialist areas including change management; cultural transformation; employee value proposition and engagement; organisational, leadership and talent development; rewards and benefits; and ESG. 

As Director of People & ESG, Rebekah has played a pivotal role in developing Ricoh’s people-first culture. She has overseen complex change management along with the implementation of countless diversity, inclusion, and wellbeing initiatives. She is an early trailblazer of flexible working, and under her leadership Ricoh UK launched its flexible-first working policy in 2019.

Rebekah is actively engaged with several initiatives by the Prince’s Trust and Business in the Community. As a passionate advocate for inclusion in the workplace, Rebekah campaigns on disability education and is a Trustee for a special needs academy school.

Jonathan Greaves

Chief Finance Officer, Ricoh Northern Europe

Jonathan became a member of the UK board in October 2024 as CFO for Ricoh Northern Europe. ​

With over 30 years of international experience, Jonathan is a commercially minded finance leader with a strong track record of driving transformational change and profitable growth across different sectors including retail, manufacturing, distribution, and financial services. Prior to joining Ricoh, he served in senior positions in HSS Hire, RS Components and Barclays Group, among others.​

Jonathan champions diversity and inclusion in the workplace and looks forward to being involved in Ricoh’s initiatives. ​
