Ricoh cuts costs by 30% and delivers a biometric-enabled managed print service.

A biometric-enabled print service deployed by Ricoh has enabled The Regis School in Bognor Regis to cut costs by 30 percent and transform the way print is managed and used throughout the school. Staff and pupils use fingerprint scanners to print from central and dispersed Ricoh multifunction products and printers. The Ricoh Managed Print Service has reduced print devices from 90 to just 26 and has encouraged a reduction in printing and more efficient use of staff time. The Ricoh solution has halved the workload for the IT team, reduced IT outsourcing costs and freed up technicians to return to the classroom full time.
