Ricoh's Network Interface Board enables users to check the status of network peripherals through common web browsers, such as Microsoft® Internet Explorer® and Netscape Navigator™.
Check printer status
Receiving information from the printer NIBs, Web Status Monitor displays the status of the target printer. Once you have entered the right IP address, you can use common browsers such as Internet Explorer® or Netscape Navigator™ to see whether the printer is ready or not. Web Status monitoring allows you to obtain the same kind of information as with Aficio™ Manager.
Platform independent
Because Web Status Monitor is not software that is installed on your PC, but rather works via web browsers, it is platform independent and can be used with any operating system. As long as the target printer is networked and has an IP address, you can check its status at any time.
User-friendly monitoring
Using Web Status Monitor is as easy as browsing the Internet. Simply type in the IP address of the printer you want to check, and an HTML page will appear with the status of the target peripheral.
