Ricoh UK Ltd was established in London in 1980. It markets copiers, printers, scanners, facsimile and office equipment through a network of dealers and distributors. A brief history of Ricoh UK Limited:

1980

1980:Ricoh UK Ltd was established in London
1984:Saw the opening of sales offices in Wilmslow in Cheshire and Craven House in Ealing
1987:Ricoh opens its award -winning manufacturing plant in Telford, Shropshire | The plant is still operating today and has scooped many awards including the "Queens Award for Environmental Achievement"
1988:Ricoh becomes the first manufacture to introduce Multi-functional products | MFP's reducing the need for multiple devices
1988:Ricoh UK Ltd moved to new prestige headquarters in Feltham, Middlesex incorporating all sites under one roof.
1988:Ricoh UK Ltd opened its showroom at the new headquarters in Feltham.

1990:Ricoh celebrated 10 years in UK
1992:Ricoh sponsor the Olympic games held in Barcelona
1993:The Ricoh Group achieves total elimination of ozone-depleting substances (specific chlorofluorocarbons 'CFC's)
1993:Ricoh announced development of Microsoft at Work Facsimile
1994Ricoh launched first product in range of digital Multifunctional Equipment
1995:Ricoh incorporates its 'Comet Circle' cradle-to-cradle approach to product recycling | centres on the belief that all product parts should be designed and manufactured in a way that they can be either recycled or re-used
1995:Ricoh UK launched World’s fastest colour copier, the NC811. New showroom opens in April at Telford
1996:Ricoh Launched a range of Aficio products, digital black and white, or colour copiers, on to which other functions, such as facsimile and printing modules can be added.
1997:Ricoh UK Ltd advertised on TV for the first time
1999:Launch of Aficio mono and colour laser Printers
