Aficio™SP 6330N – Ricoh launches new compact A3 workgroup printer
Feltham, UK, 10 February 2010 – Ricoh UK today introduced the Aficio™SP 6330N, its latest A3 desktop printer. The compact monochrome printer is highly reliable and handles heavy workloads with ease. With an output of 35 prints per minute, the SP 6330N is best suited for medium workgroups.
“With the Aficio™SP 6330N, we are offering our customers an affordable, robust A3 printer with high specifications,” says Robert Brown, Product Manager at Ricoh UK. “It is a durable device that can handle up to 200,000 prints per month. Additionally, valuable features such as a Network Interface Card and security settings are part of the standard package. In addition, the Aficio™SP 6330N offers a low cost per page.”
As well as a fast print speed, the Aficio™SP 6330N has a fast warm up time of just 19 seconds. The first print is ready in less than 6.8 seconds. The impressive 1,600-sheet maximum paper capacity ensures long, uninterrupted print runs. Moreover, the SP 6330N easily supports a great variety of media weighing between 52 and 216 g/m². It can be used for the creation of professional reports, handouts and flyers in formats from A6 to A3. When an optional feeder is attached, the SP 6330N also prints envelopes.
With its standard network capability, SP 6330N is ideal for shared use. To keep confidential data secure, the printer is equipped with several safety features. Users can be asked to identify themselves by means of a password. An optional Hard Disk Drive allows users to lock prints or release them only upon entering a password. In addition to the security measures, the SP 6330N also offers opportunities for monitoring and cost-accounting. The printer supports Ricoh’s @Remote software, which tracks printer use and offers a detailed overview of costs.
The Aficio™SP 6630N is the latest addition to Ricoh’s advanced range of digital office equipment. Ricoh currently manufactures one of the most extensive line-ups of printers, copiers, faxes and multifunctional devices, as well as advanced software solutions.

Ricoh designs, develops and manufactures a complete range of print and document management, hardware, software and services which are tailored to meet individual customer needs. Its devices print, copy, scan and fax documents as an integrated part of the IT network and enterprise content management system. Ricoh established an Environmental Protection Office in 1976, and has been striving to minimise the effect of its activities on the environment ever since. Ricoh UK’s environmental credentials are second to none; it operates a zero-waste policy at all of its manufacturing plants and is investing in carbon reduction technologies to reduce the environmental impact of its operations rather than merely offsetting its carbon footprint. The company operates a dedicated ‘Green Centre’, where old machines are re-commissioned and recycled in line with WEEE Directive guidelines and accredited with ISO14001:2004 for environmental management. Ricoh has been awarded the Carbon Trust Standard that requires an organisation to measure, manage and reduce its carbon footprint and, for the fifth consecutive year, has also been named as one of the "Global 100 Most Sustainable Corporations in the World" by the World Economic Forum in Davos.
