Ricoh is proud to support and sponsor the Duke of York Young Champions Trophy and Foundation for the fourth year as the official IT and office automation partner, supporting the development of junior golfers and aiding the tournament with their document management needs.

Created by HRH The Duke of York, The Duke of York Young Champions Trophy is a unique, international 54 hole stroke play amateur golf tournament for boys and girls who are either the current holders of their Under 18 National Championship or have won some other major golfing event in the preceding year. The tournament aims to promote the development of junior golf and provide young players from across Europe, North and South America, Asia and South Africa with an opportunity to play on Open venue courses against their peers.

In 2004, the tournament acquired charitable status and the Duke of York Sports Foundation was established to promote amateur sport for the benefit of young people, secure the longevity of the tournament and to offer academic and golf scholarships to 13 - 18 year old players – giving juniors the chance to play the game whilst still receiving a high standard of education.

We are passionate about outstanding performance, at every level, which is why we are as proud to be the Official Partner of the Duke of York Foundation, as we are to be title sponsor of the Ricoh Women’s British Open.

The Duke of York Young Champions Trophy is widely regarded as one of the top events on the worldwide junior calendar, and celebrates its 10th Anniversary in September 2011 when it returns to Royal Liverpool, Hoylake.
